Standard Poodle
I don't think that Standard Poodles get the recognition or credit they deserve! They are good sized dog that is COMPLETELY HYPOALLERGENIC AND COMPLETELY NON-SHEDDING! They are hardy, adaptable, HIGHLY INTELLIGENT, people oriented, gentle, loving, athletic dogs!
While I think that the traditional hair cuts for Poodles are beautiful, I usually keep mine in a full body shave and they are just as tough and well suited for the ranch and mountain life as any dog! Standard Poodles make EXCELLENT family dogs, companions, therapy dogs, obedience competitors, dog sport dogs, or special needs/assistance dogs. They are AMAZING! They adapt quickly to any situation, are absolutely beautiful, even tempered, and loving dogs!
